WORLD PREMIERE – EXISTENTIA – Season 2020/2021
Craig will be creating a world premiere EXISTENTIA for the Origen Festival Cultural in season 2020/2021. Working together with Composer Jonathan Emilian Heck, Costume Designer Christopher John Parker and the dancers from Zürich Ballet. Premiere July 2nd 2020.
WORLD PREMIERE – Junior Ballett Zürich – Season 2020/2021
Craig will be creating a world premiere for the Junior Ballett Zürich in season 2020/2021. Working together again with Composer Nicholas Thayer and Costume Designer Alana Sargent who were the creative team for PARTS PER MILLION for the Queensland Ballet in 2018. Premiere February 24th 2021.
WORLD PREMIERE – Tulsa Ballet – Season 2020/2021 (Postponed)
Craig will be creating a world premiere for the Tulsa Ballet in season 2021/2022. Originally planned for to premiere as part of the "Creations in studio K" September 17th 2020 but has had to be postponed due to COVID-19.
LIGHTNESS OF BEING – International Ballet Gala – February 2020
LIGHTNESS OF BEING will be performed by Melissa Hamilton (First Soloist Royal Ballet) and Gareth Haw (Coryphée Dresden Semperoper Ballett) at Een Hart Voor Dans, International Ballet Gala, Concertgebouw Brugge, Belgium - 14th February 2020. With new costume design by Christopher John Parker (CJP Handmade).
WORLD PREMIERE – Junior Ballet Antwerp – Season 2019/2020
Craig will be creating AUTUMN a world premiere for the Junior Ballet Antwerp in season 2019/2020 as part of a collaborative evening together with Juanjo Arques, Altea Nunez and Mauro de Candia. Premiere February 21st at the Antwerpen Opera House, Antwerpen, Belgium.
REMEMBRANCE/HEREAFTER – Atlanta Ballet – 2019/2020 Season
In May 2020, Remembrance/Hereafter which had its World Premiere with Atlanta Ballet in its 2017/2018 will be returning as part of their Firebird evening. With Costume and Set Design by Kate Venables and Light Design by Matt Miller.
REMEMBRANCE/HEREAFTER – Atlanta Ballet Prague Tour – 2019/2020 Season
In February 2020, Atlanta Ballet will appear as special guest performers in Czech National Ballet's 2019/2020 season. Seven members will be travelling to Prague to perform the second movement of Craig's Remembrance/Hereafter which Atlanta Ballet premiered in its 2017/2018 season.
SONATA – International Ballet Gala, Italy – November 2019
Sonata, created in 2015 by Craig Davidson on dancers from the SemperOper Ballett, Dresden. Set to a violin Sonata by Bach and Costume Design by Christopher Parker (CJP Handmade). Will be performed at the first International Ballet Gala, Genoa, Italy - 30th November, 2019.
WORLD PREMIERE – ZHdK – Season 2018/2019
Craig will be creating a world premiere for the BA Contemporary Dance graduating students at the Zürcher Hochschule der Künste in season 2018/2019. Collaborating with, Composer - Nicholas Robert Thayer, Visual Artist - Frouke ten Velden. Premiere 28th July, 2019 at Theatre der Künste, Zürich, Switzerland.
WORLD PREMIERE – Queensland Ballet – Season 2018/2019
Craig will be creating a world premiere for the Queensland Ballet in season 2018/2019. Collaborating with, Composer - Nicholas Robert Thayer, Costume Designer - Alana Sargent and Lighting Designer - Cameron Georg. Premiere 9th November, 2018 at the Powerhouse Theatre, Brisbane Power House.
AMBIGUOUS CONTENT – Ballet Idaho – Season 2018/2019
Ambiguous Content created in 2016 by Craig will have a U.S Premiere with Ballet Idaho in February, 2019. With a new light design by Matt Miller and costume design by Kate Venables.
